Born and raised in New Jersey, Dr. Reshma Patel is a graduate from SUNY College of Optometry in New York City. She began her career practicing primary care optometry in New Jersey for 3 years prior to moving to California in early 2021 to join Green Valley Optometry. Dr. Patel has experience treating patients of all age groups for routine and contact lens examinations. She manages eye diseases including glaucoma, dry eye, diabetic retinopathy, cataracts, and macular degeneration. Dr. Patel is multilingual and can perform eye exams in Spanish, Hindi, and Gujarati.
Dr. Patel enjoys balancing her clinical work with volunteering. She has devoted her time providing volunteer eye care for underprivileged patients in Nicaragua, Mumbai, India, and Athens, Greece. During her free time, Dr. Patel enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and traveling. She has visited 13 National Parks thus far.
